From expert installations, unmatched service, to on-time delivery, I can't say enough great things about Newport Propane."

Using an underground propane tank is the preferred method of propane storage. It is hidden beneath the ground, with only a small dome appearing above ground. Underground storage is more reliable and much safer than above ground storage and is the best way to store propane on your property.
Underground propane tanks are constructed of heavy steel, are painted with a mastic coating to prevent corrosion, and require no maintenance.
An underground tank will last for decades. We recently removed a 1000 gallon-underground tank 65 years old. It was in perfect condition and could go back into the ground in another location!
Newport Propane will install an underground tank to provide for all your propane needs. You choose the size: 250 gallons, 500 gallons, or 1000 gallons. Our expert installers will provide a complete safety- inspected, tested installation. We’ll also provide free technical assistance with regard to proper excavation and site work required.
Storing propane underground allows the homeowner to bury a larger capacity cylinder than would be desirable if it were above ground. This results in less frequent deliveries and more peace of mind.
Building a new home, converting your entire heating system to propane, or installing a back-up propane-powered generator? We will work closely with your plumber, electrician, or building contractor. We’ll install the propane tank and provide a complete, coordinated installation and start-up of your propane system.
All our installations strictly comply with safety regulations, and we pride ourselves on the durability of our products.
